Onam, Christmas and the stage where our community shines.
From the first flower of the Athapookalam to the last curtain call of the Christmas program, GCKA's cultural calendar is where families, choreographers and first-time performers come together. Hundreds of members take the stage each year — and the rules are designed to give everyone a fair, equal opportunity.
Christmas & New Year
A winter program on stage, lunch and dinner sign-ups, plus the Cake Baking and Christmas Tree Decoration contests. In 2026 it was celebrated as Harmony.
Kerala Piravi · Ruchimelam
A November food festival celebrating Kerala's birthday, with food stalls and pre-orders.
Cultural performances
Group songs, classical and folk dance, skits and live-instrument programs — registered by members, scheduled by the Cultural Committee.
Pookalam & traditional arts
The Athapookalam contest uses only natural flowers and leaves, created at the venue by teams of 3–6 members.
Community celebrations
Family Night (Thalamelam), Eid Sangamam, Art & Literary competitions, Halloween costume contests and more.
