GCKA's youth are an inspiring group of teenagers whose enthusiasm and energy earned them a formal place at the heart of the association. The Youth Forum volunteers across the Triangle, runs its own events, raises funds and elects a Youth Board of Directors every year.
Serve
Adopt-A-Highway clean-ups every spring and fall, with volunteer hours recorded for every participant.
Lead
Apply to the Youth Executive Board and plan events for the whole community.
Belong
Grow up with friends who share your roots — from Malayalam Kalari to the Onam stage.
The youth group was formed during the 2010–2011 Board of Directors under the guidance of Jimmy Pazhoor. The 2011–2012 Board formally recognized the group as the ‘GCKA Youth Forum’. In 2024 the Youth Board organized GCKA's very first Youth Day — entirely youth-run.

Volunteer & community service
Adopt-A-Highway
Youth volunteers aged 12 and older join the Youth BOD's roadside clean-up near Kelly Road Park in Apex. A brief mandatory safety meeting starts at 8:30 AM at the shelter. Parents and guardians are warmly welcome as chaperones. Snacks and drinks are provided.
